One new tradition that we started last year is the birthday stocking. It has been a blast! I love celebrating birthdays. It is the celebration that is for that one person.  Unlike other celebrations, this is a time that we are able to focus all our attention on making the birthday boy or girl feel extra special and loved. The birthday stocking is a way to add to the celebration! Everybody in the family sticks a little something in. We just recently celebrated my granddaughter’s fourth birthday and it was such fun coming up with things for her stocking!

She had so much fun! She made good use of the hair accessories and earrings immediately!

Oh my goodness! I love that girl!!

My daughter-in-law is next, with a birthday later this month,  and I can’t wait to fill her stocking!
